Size Guide

Size guide & fit help

Find your fit.

A good fit starts with your measurements. Use this guide to measure, check the details for your chosen style, and get help from our team.

Start with the style.

Sizes vary by brand, product, and cut. The illustrative chart previews below are not verified product sizing or a universal size chart. Check the chart and fit notes for your exact item. If they aren’t listed, call us before ordering.

Get the basics right

Measure first.

Use a soft measuring tape and stand naturally. Keep the tape level and comfortably close without pulling it tight. Write down your measurements and the units you used.

  1. Chest / bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest or bust, under your arms and across your back. Keep your arms relaxed.

  2. Waist

Measure around your natural waist. For pants or chaps, also check the product’s instructions for where the waistband sits.

  3. Hips

With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. Keep the tape level all the way around.

  4. Sleeve

Follow the chart’s starting point: some measure from the shoulder, others from the center back of the neck. Measure to the wrist with your elbow slightly bent.

  5. Inseam

Measure down the inside of the leg from the crotch to the required hem. A well-fitting pair of pants can help you check this length.

  6. Hand

For gloves, measure around the widest part of your hand, excluding your thumb. Check whether the product also asks for hand length.

  7. Head

For helmets, follow the measuring instructions for the exact brand and model. Head circumference is a starting point; head shape and an in-person fit check also matter.

  8. Foot

Measure both feet from heel to longest toe while standing. Compare the larger measurement with the boot manufacturer’s chart and check the width.

Verify actual thigh clearance, belt adjustment, and inseam per style. These ranges do not establish a chaps model’s adjustment limits.

Measure the waist where the chaps belt will sit and the fullest part of the thigh over the trousers intended underneath. A verified chart must distinguish body measurements from finished chaps dimensions.

Helmets

Manufacturer and model-specific sizing

Use the manufacturer’s chart for your exact helmet model. This preview does not provide generic helmet sizing.

  • Daytona Glide MG1-A — verify its model chart

Boots

Manufacturer and model-specific sizing

Foot-length conversions must match the boot model’s sizing system. This preview does not provide generic boot-size conversions.

  • Separate men’s and women’s charts
  • Confirm US, UK, or EU labels per model
  • Include verified foot length and width guidance

A single invented US-to-cm conversion should not be applied across the boot assortment. Call us for model-specific help.

Choose your gear

Fit by category.

The measurements you need depend on what you’re buying. Open a category for a quick checklist, then use the fit information for that specific product.

Men’s jackets & vests

Check: chest, waist, garment length, and sleeve length for jackets.

Consider the cut, lining, and layers you plan to wear. Fasten the garment and check your reach. A vest worn over a jacket needs different room than one worn over a shirt.

Women’s jackets & vests

Check: bust, waist, hips, garment length, and sleeve length for jackets.

Compare all relevant measurements, especially for fitted or shaped styles. Don’t choose by bust measurement alone if the waist or hips would be restricted.

Chaps & pants

Check: waist position, hips, thigh, and inseam.

Chaps are worn over clothing, so follow the product’s measuring instructions with that layer in mind. Confirm fit and the return policy before trimming or altering anything.

Gloves

Check: hand circumference and any hand-length measurement the chart requests.

Use the chart for the exact style. Check finger length and your ability to close your hand comfortably; a loose palm and short fingers are not solved by the same size change.

Helmets

Check: the manufacturer’s chart and fitting instructions for that exact model.

Do not transfer your size from another helmet or brand. A chart alone cannot confirm correct fit. Visit us for help; this guide does not replace the manufacturer’s fitting instructions.

Boots

Check: foot length, width, and calf or shaft fit where relevant.

Use the manufacturer’s size system and try boots with the socks you intend to wear. Your usual shoe size is a starting point, not a guaranteed match across styles.

Before you decide

Check the fit. Not just the label.

Account for layers

Try apparel with the layers you expect to wear. Removable liners and different cuts can change how the same labelled size feels.

Make room to move

Fasten the garment and reach forward. You should be able to bend your arms and move without pinching or excessive pulling. Don’t rely on break-in to fix restricted movement.

Between sizes? Ask us.

Don’t automatically size down. The right choice depends on the item, your measurements, and your preferred fit. Call us with the product name before ordering.
